Idling

Working until 5 PM every day really makes you enjoy the evenings more. During the day I look forward to spending my evening watching movies or playing on my brand new Wii, but what happens? I just sit at the pc and surf the net, while the tv runs in the background. And I think I've begun to understand why. Wasting your time in front of the pc is entertaining, I like reading news, posting stuff at forums and so on, but I enjoy movies and games more, so why don't I play all evening? I don't because the more fun you have, the faster time flies by, that's what it feels like anyway, and when playing or watching movies the evening feels extremely short. When doing a less entertaining thing such as surfing the internet, the evening feels longer, and you've still enjoyed the evening. Just something I've been thinking about.
Weird, I know, but I've come to like my routines and then save the movies and games for the weekend.

I just watch a shitload of tv series during the week instead (while idling on the internet as well) – which isn’t good seeing as I’m going to university and all. ;-)

Yeah, I’m gonna start doing that alot too, since Desperate Housewives (and soon Heroes and Lost) is airing again.
